IFCEE 2015
The Driller attended the International Foundations Congress & Equipment Expo (IFCEE) March 17-22 in San Antonio. The event brought thousands of foundation drilling and geotechnical drilling professionals from across the world together to see the latest equipment, and hear about the latest tips and tricks of the trade. Starting Inside
The expo began inside with exhibitors that included engineering firms, tooling manufacturers, associations and publications like National Driller.
Moving Outside
Crowds quickly moved to the outside part of the expo, which included dozens of rigs and other machinery in all shapes and sizes.
Soilmec Piling Rig
Soilmec brought an SR-75 from the company’s large diameter pile range of rigs.
ChemGrout, TEI
Exhibitors outside were set up in several long aisles to give equipment and tooling space for viewing. Here, the Jeffrey Machine, ChemGrout and TEI Rock Drills tents (that last one even included live music).
Atlas Copco
Atlas Copco – Mining and Rock Excavation brought their massive cluster drill. This same can appeared in National Driller’s Parting Shot feature in the March 2015 issue.

Rain Held Off, Mostly
Dark clouds hung over the expo for much the Wednesday and Thursday, but rain held off for the most part.
