Eklund joins Atlas Copco - Elko

Jon Eklund has joined Atlas Copco – Elko, Elko, Nev., as the branch’s newest product support sales representative, effective Oct. 17. Eklund’s primary responsibility will be supporting the implementation of special geotechnical drilling and exploration (GDE) contracts, as well as other customer support responsibilities. He will report to Dan Gravelle, parts and service manager, Atlas Copco – Elko.

Eklund learned exploration drilling while working for Stretch Exploration, and has experience with underground and surface operations. He was a leadman at Barrick for 10 years and a driller for SMD. Most recently, he was the owner of a local Elko small business.
