The TorqueTrak 9000 Digital Telemetry System from Binsfeld Engineering Inc. measures true mechanical torque on a rotating drive shaft, independent of motor conditions. The sensor input to the Binsfeld system is a strain gage bonded to the shaft. Every torque incident is detected and reported, including the damaging torque spikes of short duration.
