The Terracon Foundation has helped fund the education of nearly 70 students in the last four years.

The Deep Foundations Institute Educational Trust recently awarded scholarships at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Students pursuing a career in deep foundations have until May 15 to apply.

 The two recipients of the $2,000 award are studying civil engineering.

The Terracon Foundation is awarding $142,255 in grants.

The Langan Engineering & Environmental Services Legacy Scholarships recognize civil engineering students focusing geotechnical and environmental engineering.

Five women are receiving funding from the committee to attend the DFI’s annual conference.

Seven At-Large Scholarships, one Thomas Wysockey Civil Engineering Scholarship and one 000 John O’Malley Scholarship given.

A total of $24,000 went to scholarships, $55,000 t universities and $26,500 to nonprofits.

This years’ scholarship have been increased by $500.
