state well regulations and drilling licensing was required, our company would
occasionally drill a well inside a property where a basement was to be built.
With
the 2012 National Ground Water Association (NGWA) Groundwater Expo set for Dec.
4-7 in Las Vegas, I have decided to write a few thoughts about previous NGWA
conventions that I have attended.
In the early 1920s, California’s agriculture industry was booming, and as the demand for the Golden State’s homegrown products increased, growers had to expand their operations, which, in turn, meant an increased demand for the state’s most valuable resource – water.
