Brokk, a leading manufacturer of remote-controlled demolition machines, has hired Dan Quam as parts manager for the company’s Monroe, Washington, parts warehouse. Quam will oversee spare parts purchasing and receiving for both Brokk and Aquajet products in North America.
“Dan is a longtime partner of Brokk and Aquajet,” says Lars Lindgren, president of Brokk. “We’ve worked together for more than 20 years and knew this position would be a great fit. He brings a lot of industry and product-specific knowledge, so he has a great base to start this position. His previous knowledge of our brands means he can start working with customers to provide service and product support immediately.”
Quam will work with the existing Brokk team, including Warehouse Manager Noah Acree and Assistant Warehouse Manager Brodie Kohn.
Before joining Brokk, Quam worked for Mi Fluid Power Solutions, a hydraulic/pneumatic parts distributor, for more than 32 years. He worked his way up from the warehouse and learned all aspects of the business from customer service and purchasing to branch management. His most recent position was in outside sales. In this role, he regularly worked with Brokk, developing a longstanding relationship with the team and a deep knowledge of the Brokk and Aquajet brands.
The parts warehouse Quam manages houses an array of standard and specialty parts for all Brokk models, as well as parts and accessories for hydrodemolition robots. The facility works in conjunction with Brokk service centers in St. Joseph, Missouri, and Stanhope, New Jersey.
“This role is a great opportunity to work with awesome people and an awesome product,” Quam says. “Brokk has unlimited potential in the construction world, and I’m excited to work with Brokk to provide quality parts, timely delivery and the insights they’ve come to expect from both Brokk and Aquajet so customers can stay up and running to meet their deadlines.”
Brokk serves several industries worldwide, including construction, mining and tunneling, with its line of electric remote-controlled demolition machines, attachments and related products. For more information, visit www.brokk.com.
