Managing Large Drill Projects on a Tight Location
Drillers get tasked with doing plenty of hardly possible things. This week, host Brock Yordy takes a question about managing a 20” well project to 500’ on a tight job footprint. It’s Ask Brock episode 184.
“This job is all about time,” Yordy says. “It’s the time of physics and science to separate those solids and be effective, and being able to rebuild these drilling fluids.”
It’s all doable with good circulation, mud rebalancing and a system that runs with stopwatch timing, he adds.
