While drillers are overwhelmingly men, it’s no secret that women have made huge contributions to this industry. They run the companies and raise the kids while the muddy work gets done (or even pitch in when needed on that muddy work). This week, host Brock Yordy salutes the moms who gave birth to drillers and the drilling industry. It’s Ask Brock episode 160.

“Face it: Drillers, we always want the bigger hammer,” Yordy says. “But sometimes it takes that attention to detail and that maternal ability.”
