Host and The Driller contributing writer Brock Yordy this week takes a question from an air and cable-tool driller wondering about the best training out there for mud drilling. Where do you go to learn the best fluids practices from the best in fluids? It’s Ask Brock, episode 134.
“There’s as much science as there is art into executing effectively,” Yordy says. “All of the mud manufacturers offer everything from a four-hour to a day to a couple days to a week-long school — and they’re all beneficial. It comes down to the products you’re using, the company you’re comfortable with and who’s collaborating with you.”
This episode also talks about uphole velocity, working with mud engineers and other topics. Click the video to hear more.
