In Ask Brock episode 109, drill trainer and The Driller contributor Brock Yordy reflects on his top safety concern for the month as crews get ready for the summer heat in the Northern Hemisphere.
“Come up with a safety plan that is good for thunder and lightning and severe weather,” he says. “It’s the same if we’re getting a big snow storm and ice. These are all things we can plan for that are not a part of the unknown. They’re part of the known.”
He talks about hazards crews may encounter on or off the clock, like traffic, and offers tips for keeping that commitment to safety in rough weather.
