You have a rig and some contracts, now what? How do you start and develop a team to optimize drilling productivity? Host Brock Yordy joined the National Driller team at the National Ground Water Association’s Groundwater Week 2019. This is one of several interviews recorded live at the event for our Ask Brock video series. In episode 66, he speaks with Tucker Morgan, a driller with the U.S. Air Force RED HORSE well drilling training program, about team building.

“You need to have more than one person that can run the controls effectively, knows the drill plan,” Yordy says.

He offers tips for getting drillers, helpers, mud experts, welders and the whole crew working toward the same goal: getting water to come out of the ground.
