Pump and control manufacturer Franklin Electric has welcomed Erasmo “Raz” Barron as the new field service engineer for customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, western Tennessee and eastern Texas. Barron will provide training and onsite troubleshooting assistance for contractors and distributors to help improve efficiencies and maximize customer profitability.
“In his time with Franklin, Raz has built an extremely strong rapport with customers,” says Dave Batdorff, regional technical service manager. “His professional enthusiasm and pump troubleshooting knowledge will make him an invaluable resource in the field and a person that customers can count on.”
For the past two years, Barron has worked for Franklin Electric as a commercial applications manager for the company’s Engineered Products team. He is also a decorated veteran, earning a Bronze Star and many other awards and honors while serving 25 years in the U.S. Army. He did two tours in the Middle East.
Barron takes over for Randy Pfeifer, an industry veteran retiring after more than 36 years serving Franklin Electric customers and the groundwater industry.
“Our customers have consistently used the words professionalism and integrity to describe Randy Pfeifer,” states Batdorff. “We’re very thankful to have called him our team member for so many years and wish him the very happiest of retirements.”
