GRL Engineers Inc. (GRL) has announced that Joel Pierazek, is now an engineer in its Pennsylvania office.

Pierazek is a civil engineering graduate from the University of North Florida, currently working towards an M.S. degree in Civil Engineering.  His previous experiences include heavy civil and marine construction projects, and geotechnical laboratory tests for the design of bridge foundations, earth retaining walls and roadways.

“With his experience in geotechnical engineering, field experience, and having a good working attitude, Joel will be a good addition to our family of testing engineers,” says Michael Morgano, who heads that office.

The PA office is one of GRL’s 10 locations in the U.S. Like all other offices, it provides pile and drilled shaft load and integrity testing services by various methods, as well as GRLWEAP analysis and SPT hammer calibration. The PA office covers eastern Pennsylvania, eastern New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, District of Columbia and Northern Virginia.
