Borets, a provider of electric submersible pump (ESP) systems,has named David Langley as its North American health, safety and environment (HSE) manager.
“With more than 15 years of occupational health and safety management experience under his belt, Borets is pleased to welcome David to our team,” says Obren Lekic, vice president of business development at Borets. “David provides an excellent source of HSE knowledge and brings with him years of industry experience that will allow him to support and guide our North American team as they work to coordinate and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure all Borets’ worksites are HSE-compliant.”
Langley will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs and policies that align with the company’s corporate standards for health, safety and environmental compliance. He will work out of Borets’ U.S. corporate office in Houston.
Langley earned a master’s degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas and a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Bethel University in Tennessee. He is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Langley has received accreditation as a certified safety professional by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and as a Certified Fire Protection Specialist from NFPA.
