KZN-HYD Series is the hydraulically-driven version of the KZN Series Heavy Duty Submersible Slurry Pump with agitator. The pump is designed for applications were electric power is not available, or variable speed is needed for the application.It runs dry without risk of overheating and is intrinsically safe in hazardous environments, typically requiring explosion-proof pumps. Features include a high-chrome iron impeller, replaceable wear plate, agitator and double silicon carbide seals. It can be used for a host of applications, including those in mines, coal prep plants, coal or ash sumps, rock/sand plants, lime slake pits, grit chambers, drillers mud and at construction sites.
