Hazloc Heaters, a manufacturer of industrial unit heaters for hazardous and severe-duty locations, is launching the second generation of the Steam Rig Heater (SRH2) series of heat-exchanger unit heaters.
The SRH2 series of heat-exchanger unit heaters is designed for steam applications on drilling rigs where boiler failure or system neglect can lead to freeze-up conditions. During an accidental freeze-up the SafeDeform core headers are designed to accommodate ice expansion.
The SRH2 series has been re-designed to accept operating steam pressures up to 150 psig in single-pass configurations only. A 36-inch fan size model has also been added to the product line, which integrates a speed reducer instead of pulleys and fan belts as used on a competitor’s model.SRH2 heaters meet ASME requirements with a National CRN to conform to the Safety Codes Act. An added benefit is Hazloc Heaters' 18-month heater warranty.
“We have improved and expanded the model range of the SRH2 series to give our customers more choices, longer product life and reduced maintenance costs,” says Hazloc HeatersGeneral Manager Darren Ochosky. "We are dedicated to helping our customers grow and prosper by providing leading edge industrial heating products, technical expertise and outstanding service. Hazloc Heatersis also committed to a high standard of quality and on-time delivery performance.”
