Flomatic Corporation is introducing its new Model 745ASC Rubber Flapper Swing Check Valve with adjustable spring closure (ASC).

The swing check valve has an epoxy-coated ductile iron body with an encapsulated valve disc that is custom molded Buna-N and comes in 3- to 14-inch sizes. The model 745ASC is designed for high head, long pipe lines, multiple pump and surge tank installations. The spring-assisted closure of the valve helps provide rapid closure through a short stroke of 45 degrees.Use of the field adjustable spring helps avoid slamming and, at the same time, allows the valve disc to be stabilized under normal flow conditions. The unique spring closure device can be replaced in the field without removing the valve.
