Hole Products is expanding its bentonite expertise from wells to wildlife.
The company has made a donation of Aqua Gel Goldseal to Walleyes for Tomorrow. The non-profit organization has a goal of protecting water quality and improving spawning habitats.
The 100 percent bentonite product increases the overall walleye hatch rate to about 70 percent. When added to the spawn mixture, it increases the suspension of walleye eggs.
Walleyes for Tomorrow works with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources fisheries biologists to protect the waters of the state. The organization restocks local lakes with more than 25 to 30 million fingerling a year.
Hole Products says it’s proud to be able to help restore and protect lakes and streams for future generations.
