Halco Rock Tools is welcoming a new member to its U.S. sales team. Ben Vandevort is the newest oil and gas regional sales manager.
“Halco has a good reputation and their products are known for quality and reliability and I’ve already been successful in selling Halco’s hammers and bits,” Vandevort says. “So taking the decision to join Halco was an easy one.”
Vandevort’s drilling industry experience dates back more than eight years. He spent 6½ years focused on the oil and gas industry in the Northeast, including a 2½ year stint with Sunrise Drilling Supply Inc.
The role deals mainly with business development in the oil and gas drilling sector. Marc Thompson, group commercial manager for Halco Rock Tools, says he’s extremely pleased to have Vandevort on the Halco team. “We have had a longstanding relationship with him and although he will be working remotely we know that he’s going to fit in well with our existing team in the Sherman, Texas, office,” Thompson says.
