Logan International’s subsidiary, Logan Oil Tools, has acquired Houston Engineers (HE) fishing tools.

The assets purchased from Smith International include inventory, the rights to make and sell HE fishing tools and intellectual property including the use of trade names “Houston Engineers” and “HE.” The highly specialized acquired tools are used to free and remove downhole tools and equipment in connection with workover or intervention services.
