The National Ground Water Association (NGWA) has chosen Kris Jackson, business development manager for motors and controls at Pentair Water, to receive its Manufacturers Division Special Recognition Award.
Jackson’s nominator called him an important source of information on variable frequency drives and constant pressure systems. He has served on NGWA’s board of directors and the Empire State Water Well board of directors.
The award acknowledges his contributions to the groundwater industry from the manufacturing sector and will be presented at the 2014 NGWA Groundwater Expo in Las Vegas, in December.
“One of his prime responsibilities is training, and he has taught classes from coast to coast week in and week out for quite some time,” his nominator stated. “These are classes that support continuing education requirements to meet state licensing requirements.”
NGWA is a nonprofit that supports responsible development, management and use of water resources. It’s comprised of groundwater professionals ranging from contractors to equipment manufacturers to scientists and engineers. For more information, visit www.ngwa.org.
