Geotechnical construction firm Hayward Baker has been awarded the ADSC’s Rick Marshall Commitment to Excellence in Safety Award, topping off this year’s crop of awardees.
ADSC – The International Association of Foundation Drilling, calls the Rick Marshall award a “special” one for companies “whose proactive commitment to providing a safe workplace is of such a superior quality that it deserves special recognition.” Criteria include a safety program and culture at all levels, as well as a company-wide Safety Director position that ensures adherence.
Another marque award, the Dave White Memorial Award, went to Bay Shore Systems Inc., a Rathdrum, Idaho-based manufacturer of the LoDrill excavator drilling attachment and other foundations drilling equipment. The Dave White award recognizes company efforts to improve an existing safety program. The award carries the name of the ADSC’s first Safety Committee Director, the late Dave White.
