Atlas Copco Construction Equipment announced that Houston-based Stewart & Stevenson will now act as a distributor for the company’s full line of generators, compressors, boosters and other equipment.

“The Atlas Copco product line meshes well with the equipment and rental needs of customers in the markets that we serve. It is a great addition to our offerings,” said Bill Simmons, president and CEO of Stewart & Stevenson Power Products.

Stewart & Stevenson, established in 1902, offers equipment and service to a range of industries, including oil and gas, marine, power generation and transportation. It has a domestic and international network of sales and service centers. Along with Atlas Copco, the company works with other partners to provide on-site continuous, standby and portable power generation systems.
