Xylem, a global water technology company focused on addressing the world’s most challenging water issues, announced the opening of its newest dewatering solutions branch in Pompano Beach, Fla.
Managed by current Florida branch manager, Mike Sturgill, the 12,000 sq. ft. facility is equipped with shop and office space, and sits on more than 2 acres. It is conveniently located between Interstate 95 and the Florida Turnpike, 32 miles south of West Palm Beach and 30 miles north of Miami.
“Finding the right building is always a challenge,” said Sturgill. “But we knew Southeast Florida required a local presence from us to provide our customers with the service and support they’ve come to expect from the Godwin brand. We are now adding sales and support staff. We look forward to expanding in the area and providing our well-known 24/7 service.”
The location will also be served by Florida regional manager, Todd Huffman, and a salesperson already experienced in the area. Said Huffman, “The facility and space available to us now will be invaluable for meeting the requirements of larger projects quickly and efficiently.”
Xylem, based in Rye Brook, N.Y., serves the public utility, residential, commercial and agricultural markets with a variety of pump and water treatment products. The company has about 12,500 employees worldwide. For more information, visit
