American Piping Products announced the acquisition of the assets of Ozark Tubular Products.
“The acquisition of Ozark is another important piece of our strategic growth plan,” said Al Rheinnecker, CEO of American Piping Products. “Ozark is an excellent company with great people who serve a diverse customer base. Ozark shares our philosophy of superior customer service, deep technical knowledge and rock solid integrity. I have known many of the individuals at Ozark for a long time, and I am thrilled to add them to our outstanding team.”
American Piping Products distributes carbon and chrome molybdenum, or “moly,” pipe for the oil and gas industries, as well as other sectors. APP also offers tubing, fitting and flanges.
“My team and I are excited to join American Piping Products,” said Ozark’s Wayne Copple. “I have tremendous respect for the people at American Piping Products and look forward to bringing our combined value to the customers we serve.”
“Ozark is the first of what I hope will be a number of highly targeted acquisitions,” said Matt Danis, COO and CFO of American Piping Products. “Our historic growth has been organic; however, acquisitions enable us to complement our internal growth efforts and provide our target markets with additional products, services and resources.”
APP distributes carbon, specialty and chrome-moly pipe, tubing, fittings and flanges to customers in the processing, energy, manufacturing, fabrication and construction industries. The company is based in St. Louis, Mo., but processes steel at facilities in Houston and Chicago. It ships products worldwide. For more information, visit www.amerpipe.com.
