Franklin Electric has taken the wraps off the company’s new world headquarters in Fort Wayne, Ind.
The new, state-of-the-art facility sits just a short distance from Interstate 69 southwest of the city, near Fort Wayne International Airport. The company said in a release that the 118,200 square foot building expands its capacity for research, development, design and testing of new products.
All of Franklin’s 245 headquarters employees now work at the facility.
In announcing the new location, Franklin said it features more than 20 of the company’s own products to move and manage water within the building, as well as geothermal heating and cooling. It also has a 24,000 square foot testing lab.
