Allegheny Instruments’ GeoVISION Nano borehole video camera will fit inside boreholes and monitoring wells as small as 1 inch, and can be used to inspect larger diameter wells without having to remove the pump. The Nano camera is compatible with existing GeoVISION borehole camera systems, and can operate on a hand-reel winch to 1,000 feet, and on a motorized winch to 2,000 feet.

The Nano features a standard NTSC resolution with 4:3 aspect ratio. Video is lit by six high-intensity white LEDs. The Nano is rated for use up to 1,000 psi and can be used with a variety of winches, which Allegheny also sells. Allegheny also sells a Nano Rotating Mirror, which works with the Nano camera to allow users to scan the sides of boreholes.
