Erickson Appointed to Mid-south Sales Position for Atlas Copco
Delaney Erickson has been appointed to
the position of business development sales manager for oil and gas markets in
the mid-south region, effective immediately. In his new role, Erickson will
report directly to Gene Mattila, business line manager for rock drilling tools.
Erickson’s background includes work for both a large Atlas Copco distributor and a drill rig competitor. He brings 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry to his new position.
“He has a complete product, market and customer base knowledge of the area, and we expect him to begin contributing to our success in the region right away,” says Mattila. “He knows our product portfolio thoroughly – from deephole rigs to our oil and gas products, including our other surface drilling equipment and rock drilling tools. The 12 years he has spent working with our products, systems and people will allow Delaney to adapt very quickly to being a member of our team in this very significant geographical area.”
