Terra Sonic International, manufacturer of sonic drilling rigs, downhole tooling and support equipment, has announced that the company has acquired Sonic Sampling & Supply of Woodacre, Calif.

Sonic Sampling & Supply is a distributor of sonic drilling equipment, tooling and accessories, and provides expert training, support and service to its global customers.

Sonic Sampling & Supply was established in 2006 by Mike Casey, an experienced drilling contractor with extensive experience in sonic equipment. Casey has been a leader in the development and application of sonic drilling technology in exploration, geotechnical, geothermal and environmental applications. Pursuant to the acquisition of Sonic Sampling & Supply, Casey will join Terra Sonic International and direct sales for its global business.
