Celebrating the 40th
anniversary of its automatic self-priming pump line, Godwin Pumps announces the official
opening of its branch location in Carson, Calif. “We chose the Carson location
to provide more immediate rental, sales and service support to our refinery
business in the Long Beach area, and to support our ongoing business in the
western portion of the Los Angeles basin with municipal, industrial and
construction clients. This location complements our existing Mira Loma facility
in the eastern portion of the Los
Angeles basin,” says Godwin western regional manager
Ron Askin.
The new facility
offers 2,400 square feet of office space, 12,000 square feet of building space
and another 75,000 square feet of yard space to support the current demand and
long-term growth expected in the Long
Beach area.
Godwin’s support
of the refinery process includes pumps for use in tank stripping/final
emptying, sludge and product transfer, API separator cleaning, temporary fire
water and plant feed water service, tank cleaning, cooling tower pump
replacement, tank farm sumps, product transfer on long pipelines and pipeline
pigging, and temporary bypass of API separators or process and/or storm sewers.
