Pentair Water, a leading manufacturer of water pumps, water filtration products and pool products, announces the winners of the 2009 Pentair Water Award Dealers Sons and Daughters Scholarship Program.

The scholarship program assists children of Pentair Water Award Dealers or of employees of Dealers who plan to continue education in college or vocational school programs. Five recipients are chosen each year to receive a $2,000 scholarship for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.

This year’s scholarship winners:

Ian Anschutz – Baileys Harbor, Wis.
Anna Fester – Lawton, Mich.
Caitlin Pawlowski – Lynden, Wash.
Joy Peterson – North Platte, Neb.
Marissa Reynolds – Wausau, Wis.

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal. Recipients were judged and selected by Scholarship Management Services, an independent scholarship program administrator.
