Doosan Infracore International Heads to Charlotte
Doosan Infracore
International recently moved into its new global headquarters in Charlotte,
N.C. The new 28,272-square-foot headquarters will house approximately 100 personnel
for the engineering, manufacturing and marketing of construction equipment.
Doosan Infracore International was established following the $4.9 billion acquisition by its parent company, South Korean-based Doosan Infracore, of Bobcat, Utility Equipment and Attachments from Ingersoll-Rand Co.
The November 2007 agreement marked the largest overseas acquisition in South Korean history. Today, the three entities – Bobcat, Doosan Infracore Portable Power and DII Attachments – are operating as individual businesses of Doosan Infracore International.
Doosan Infracore Portable Power also has made a move, officially relocating all manufacturing and administrative operations to its new facility in Statesville, N.C. this month.
