DRAGIN Geothermal Well Drilling Inc., with offices in Massachusetts and New
Hampshire, has acquired the assets of Hartley Industries, a Meredith, N.H.,
water well drilling firm. The 40-year old Hartley Industries will become part
of the DRAGIN family, which operates DRAGIN Drilling and DRAGIN Geothermal Well
Drilling. The new owners have purchased the equipment and office located in
Meredith.
The Meredith location will continue to serve the region with residential water
well drilling, but will add a new and fast-growing service – geothermal well
drilling. The owners, D.J. and Carrie (Collins) Quagliaroli have run the
businesses out of headquarters in Wareham, Mass., since 1996.
D.J. Quagliaroli says, “In the last year, we have seen the increased need for
geothermal, and know that its benefits are significant, particularly in these
times of rising energy costs. We will continue to build upon the good work and
good reputation established by Hartley Industries, and are pleased that we will
now be able to offer the expanded services of our two companies.”
