A California water bottler not only uses reverse osmosis to treat its product, it also is blessed by clergy from various religious denominations. Holy Drinking Water currently is available in the San Joaquin Valley in 16.9-ounce bottles; nationwide distribution is being considered. A company spokesman says, “Unlike holy water used in places of worship, this water is blessed after it’s been bottled,” adding, “It may cause burning, intense heat and oral irritations if consumed by sinners.”
