EZ-SEAL grout, a ANSI/NSF Standard 60 certified product from Baroid Industrial Drilling Products, is a one-sack, granular sodium bentonite that has low permeability and does not produce heat during hydration. It may be used for annular seals of water wells, abandonment of mineral exploration boreholes or to aid stabilization of fractured or unconsolidated formations. Other applications include plugging abandoned boreholes, grouting ground source heat loops and stabilizing soils in construction operations.
