Compressor with a V8 Engine
The new MonoBlock compressors from GrimmerSchmidt Compressors use one bank of a V8 engine for power and the other bank to compress air. The PaceAir unit controls the engine/compressor to maintain a constant air supply within 2 psi of the set pressure. Connected to the electronic throttle, the unit throttles the engine while step-loading the compressor valves to meet demand. The new 175E CFM MonoBlock features electronic fuel injection and electronic engine controls, a control panel with a push button start, air pressure gauge and fault indication, and more.
