Carbide Blade
The carbide blade from Little Beaver is recommended for tough drilling in hard clay, frozen ground or other hardpan soils. The high-speed auger rotation allows the carbide blade to cut the clay or grind it into pieces instead of digging into it. The carbide blade mounts on the bottom of the auger in place of the standard point, also replacing the side cutter. The 4-inch to 14-inch carbide blades include grade 8 mounting bolts and lock-nuts.
