Coleman Cable recently introduced a round-jacketed pump cable to its Baron line. Rated for both water well and direct-burial applications, the 600-volt pump cable also can be used in place of UF-B in irrigation applications. THW insulation waterproofs the copper, and a PVC outer-jacket allows for underground use. The outer-jacket also resists moisture, abrasion and prolonged exposure to sunlight. Available with ground in 12/3 through 6/3 gauges, this cable comes standard in 500-foot or 1,000-foot lengths. Coleman Cable Inc.
