Franklin Electric Co., Bluffton, Ind., has purchased Pioneer Pump Inc. of Canby, Ore., a manufacturer of a complete line of centrifugal pumps for agricultural, industrial, mining and municipal markets. The move allows Franklin to offer a line of large centrifugal pumps. Company CEO R. Scott Trumbull says, “The company's 2006 market introduction of large pumps also will include a complete line of submersible turbine pumps for the agricultural and municipal water markets.”
