The Grundfos Control Unit, CU 3, is an electronic motor protection device that also can monitor pump, motor and borehole performance from a distance when connected to a PC or via the Grundfos Remote Control R100. In this way, the operator is able to monitor and control data such as operating hours and power consumption. With sensors in the borehole, the water table and cost per pumped volume of water can be measured, as well. Grundfos
