The ASTEC DD-3238 directional drill offers 32,000 pounds of thrust/pullback force, as well as 3,800 ft./lbs. of rotary torque. It features a dual rack and pinion carriage drive, an enclosed mud pump, 47-gpm onboard fluid pump, two-speed floating carriage, new LCD screen at the operator's station, and single, multi-function joystick controls. Hinged hoods are engineered to allow easy access to all routine service points.
