Centerline Manufacturing announces the development of a redesigned hydraulic-drive cylinder in its patented hydraulic-drive piston mud pumps. The new cylinders are said to reduce heat generation and dissipate system heat. They incorporate a new one-piece rod/piston/rod feature for greater strength and minimized “runout.” In addition, the new rods are made with thicker chrome plating, while the cylinders use new heavy chrome-plated cylinder tubing, high-grade ductile iron piston rings and aircraft aluminum heads.
