Watson Inc.'s Model EDT-10 ExcaDrill excavator-mounted drill attachment is designed to use the excavator hydraulics to power the drill attachment and incorporates a hydraulic rotary with dual variable displacement motors. The ExcaDrill utilizes a telescoping kelly and is capable of drilling depths to 98 feet, depending on mast height and number of kelly sections. Typical hole diameters are 42 inches to 72 inches, with larger diameters possible, depending on ground conditions. The drilling attachment can be mounted on a 50-ton or larger excavator and has a geometry that allows a range of applications.
