Flowserve Corporation announces formation of its Pump Division, created as part of the acquisition of Ingersoll Dresser Pump (IDP) Company. The IDP employees joining the new organization will be combined with those from Flowserve's former Rotating Equipment Division.
Leading the organization as president is Howard D. Wynn, formerly president of Flowserve's Rotating Division. Assisting Wynn with the IDP integration is Bill Ord, who recently retired from IDP as president of its Engineering Pumps segment.
John Donatiello became vice president and general manager for Engineered Americas, from his previous duties as vice president of Worldwide Sales. George Pieters became vice president and general manager for Engineered Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMA) from his previous role as vice president for Worldwide Operations. Harry Schimmoller becomes vice president and general manager of Industrial Americas after serving as vice president of Chemical Process Pumps. Rene' Blanchais, formerly managing director of Arganda, Arnage and Hamburg for IDP, assumes responsibility of vice president and general manager of Industrial EMA.
The newly-created position of vice president and general manager of Contractor Sales and Frontline Teams is Jim Quain, previously vice president and general manager of IDP's Industrial Pump Group. Carlos Lima retains his duties as vice president of Human Resources, as will Kathy Giddings as vice president and controller. Robert Stanbury also retains his previous responsibilities as vice president of Marketing and Research and Development.
