Mietek Jaroniec, Ph.D. from Kent State University in Ohio received the annual Activated Carbon Hall-of-Fame award at the ninth annual International Activated Carbon Conference and Courses (IACC) earlier this year. Professor Jaroniec was presented the award mainly for his innovative "New Porous Carbons." The IACC is a weeklong event held annually by Professional Analytical and Consulting Services Inc. (PACS).
